Hello & welcome! First I want to thank you for considering me for your big day. I've have been a DJ/MC since I was 10 years old and have toured the world playing in some of the biggest nightclubs. Becoming a father has pointed me in a new direction. I wanted to be home for my son so I decided to do weddings. Now going from clubs to weddings is quite a change. So I followed some of the best wedding DJs around and learned the proper way to cover things like formalities and then added my touch to them. Truth be told after the formalities, it's not that different but I wanted to perfect my craft. The way I play music is different from most. I blend my songs together so the movement never stops. I can switch genres to keep people on the dance floor. If you watch the video, you'll see that I play various genres but maintain all ages on the dance floor. I know what this day means to you and I want you to know it means the world to me too. This is a once in a lifetime event and I want to make sure it goes off as you wish.....

I can offer the best services just like the larger companies for a lower cost. The reason is simple, I don't have the overhead they do. Sure I buy legal music, insurance, a truck, trailer, equipment, etc. but I don't have employees or office space or hire photographers and videographers to follow me around. That is not to take away anything from the other companies. There are some amazing companies that I've worked with and I maintain a great relationship with them and often recommend them if I'm already booked. But they can't offer the same prices I can.
I've been playing music to keep people dancing nearly my whole life. I will provide your event with the excellent entertainment value my clients have come to enjoy. No matter the event or size of the crowd, a good DJ will play the right music at the right time to set the mood or rock the party.
Some country music is a little hard to dance to unless it's a 2-step or waltz. I change the beat to make it more "dance floor friendly".
This takes more than 3 minutes to complete only because Tim EXCEEDED my expectations in regards to his role so my feedback may take a bit. He goes ABOVE AND BEYOND his responsibilities. He checked with me several times to ensure I had everything I needed. When it was time to get my food he carried my plate for me. What DJ does that??? Oh that's right DJ Tim Lewis with A Brides DJ!!!!!! My guests raved literally all night at how awesome he was and kept saying they wanted a mix of his music. Everyone loved him and he really made it a memorable night. I've never met a DJ so attentive, friendly and professional. He not only exceeded my expectations with music but his service as well. As I type this it brings tears to my eyes that my wedding day is over but also again the level of service he provided. It rained literally ALL morning. Tim was unable to set up outside near the ceremony site. He advised me ahead of time and made me feel calm and relaxed with his back up plan. Everything worked out perfect and the music was still heard perfectly. I can't thank you enough for having such an AMAZING DJ on your staff. I will HIGHLY recommend your services to anyone for any events they may need. Thank you SOOOOOOO much for making the most important day so memorable. You may absolutely use me as a reference.
Tim was great! The reception was running a little behind so he helped get things back on track so we had enough time for dancing. I was worried about people not dancing but the dance floor was packed all night. He did a great job and I got nothing but compliments about how awesome he was. Thanks for making our night so memorable!

Tim did an incredible Job! First, I have never seen so many people dance for so long at a wedding and I attribute that to Tim's abilities. He went from song to song perfectly so that you barely even realized when one song ended and another started. Second, Tim was really nice to all of the kids at our reception. There were about 6-8 boys at the wedding who were really interested in how did everything. He would let them stand behind him and watch how it worked. It was really nice of him to let them watch.

DJ Tim is the BEST! If you are looking for FUN, Professional, Courteous, and Memorable experience, then you should hire DJ Tim. We hired him for my wedding. My wife is British and DJ Tim was able to incorporate all the English music we requested, along with all the Desi music we wanted. I have heard of experiences where the DJ does not play all the songs you request him to. But, DJ Tim is very detail oriented and played all the songs beautifully in harmony with each other. He was also very attentive to the timing of all the songs. E.g. as soon as my wife and I had our first kiss, he played the specific song we requested. It was so well timed. The sound and lighting quality was amazing. All my friends loved him and I will definitely hire him again for our next party. He exceeded our expectations!!!
It was amazing, our DJ was great! He made our wedding day such a magical day and made everyone feel a part. He did enough songs to please the entire crowd and the dance floor was never empty, which made the whole night! Everyone has told us that our wedding was the wedding of the century and that they will never forget it and we definitely owe credit to the DJ for making that also!

How much do you charge?
This is the number one question - how much? I don't have a blanket pricing structure. Because every event is unique, my pricing is tailored to your event and your budget. Please give me a call to discuss your event and I can give you a no-obligation quote. I will say however I run a unique pricing package. Here are some discounts you might apply for:

What kinds of events do you play?
I've performed for weddings, corporate parties, birthdays, school dances, reunions, nightclubs, gallery openings, fashion shows, open houses, fitness centres and even non-profit events for parties as small as 10 and as large as 2000 with guests ages 0 to 100.
I'm always open to adding a new event to this list!
Who will be the DJ at my event?
I will! Many large DJ services will sell your event a system, not a DJ. In many cases you won't meet your DJ is until they show up to play at your event. From your first call or email to the end of your event, you get me, nobody else. I am personally dedicated to making your event a success from start to finish. I book only one event per day so I can focus on ensuring your event runs smoothly. However, if I am booked that day, I know some really great DJ's I can recommend.
Are you insured?
I carry $2,000,000 in liability insurance for peace of mind.
How extensive is your music collection?
I carry a huge number of songs from a wide range of musical styles with me to all events so I can play to the crowd no matter their taste. I am subscribed to monthly music services so I always have current (licensed) music with me. If I don't have a specific song I'll do my best to track it down for you!
Why is a licensed music library important?
It means that I'm not playing low-quality illegally duplicated or downloaded music which could be seized. I use only CDs, high-bitrate CD extractions or legal downloads from legitimate sources.
Can I bring you a CD or iPod to play my favorite song from?
I will always try to fill your request-list with songs from my collection to ensure it's the best quality. In the event of an at-the-event request and I don't have the song in my library, I'll be happy to play it for you from your source.
What about song requests from guests?
We can discuss the best approach to handling song requests from your guests dependant on the event.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use industry leading equipment including CD players from Denon, mixer from Rane & Denon, speakers from QSC and Shure wireless handheld microphones for speeches and ceremonies as well as lapel microphones for ceremonies. When I bring along my computer, you'll see a HP laptop running Serato software (and unlike some other computer-jocks, it won't look like I'm checking my email). Why does this matter to you? Quality, reliability and performance matter to me and I only use the best for your event.
Do you carry backup equipment?
Even though I use the best equipment, I have to be prepared for the unthinkable, so yes, I bring backups to every event. If something does fail, I'll ensure the music doesn't skip a beat.
Do you use lights and smoke?
Lights are included in every package I sell. However, in many cases the lighting isn't nearly as effective without fog (or smoke or haze) and many venues don't allow the use of these products as they can potentially interfere with certain fire protection systems.
